model SCV700-B2 worked well for about a year, then a couple metal parts came loose inside, and clanging around. the glass lid plastic handle would never tighten properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coating bubbles and comes off too easily. Scratches easily.

To help protect the surface, we recommend using non-metal utensils and avoiding abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaners, as these can cause scratching or lifting of the coating over time. Another cracked crock

This is my third Crock Pot, and I’ve had it the shortest amount of time. I took the crock out to give it a quick clean before using it tomorrow to make dinner and was extremely disappointed to find a crack in it. I have only had it about a year and a half and expect better. I take very good care of my crock pots. I do not subject them to extreme temp changes and always use non scratching utensils. It’s just the basic model, but I still expect better craftsmanship from this company.

Bought this crock pot for Christmas. It worked once and now it will not turn on at all. I contracted crock pot directly over a month ago. I have not heard back from them yet.
