disappointed crock pot user for many years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this crock pot at a store out-0f-town shortly before Christmas. I used it several times. The first time it worked great. The second time, it cooked several hours and then liquid started dripping from the top down the sides. I thought maybe I had not positioned the lid securely enough, so I put the food in a skillet and cooked it until it was done.
The next time, I made sure the lid was quite secure, and I watched it for quite a while. All want well until the last couple of hours and the same thing happened again.
I have determined something is faulty, as I have used Rival crock pots since they first came out and had no problems.
I have a friend who was with me when I purchased the crock pot and can verify that I have used it very little with problems.
I do not have my receipt, but would appreciate a credit toward another crock pot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the VersaWare Crock Pot and love it!!! It is such a lifesaver during busy weeknights when I have to take my daughter to after school activities. We always have an incredible meal waiting for us at home. The best part is being able to set the crock-pot for the amount of time I want to cook and knowing that it will click to warm mode at the end of that time period. Never have to worry about heating things up or coming home to a cold meal!!

there is only two of us and retired. We like being able to get up and go and dinner is ready when we get home. If we are home, soups, stews or roasts make the whole house smell yummy all day!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my slow cooker. I just put the ingredients in the cooker, set it and forget it. The meals that I make come out perfect every time. Cleanup is a breeze. I love the fact that it doesn't take away from what I enjoy doing. Love my Crock Pot.
Pros: every feature gets an a plus!
Cons: there are no negative points.
