I LOVED this, until at less than a year old (and only maybe half a dozen uses) it just quit working. I'm hoping ours is just a lemon and they're overall much better.

Love Crockpot...but handle came off

I've had my 7 quart stainless steel CP for some time and having raised 6 children and working it was a Godsend. In the last year one handle came off. I'd like to fix it' Do you supply handles?

Would not heat

I've had this crock pot since September and used it for the first time yesterday. Big disappointment because dinner was not ready when I got home from work! From 7 am to 6pm cooking on high and the food was raw! So I left it there "cooking" until this morning and the food was done. This put a new twist to "Slow Cooking". I'm throwing it away, not worth giving or donating to anybody.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do I get a replacement

I bought this some time ago. I love it! Unfortunately my daughter dropped the stone ware after washing (so happy it's removable to wash) and it broke. Sad face. I would love to get a replacement because we use it so much. How can I? Thanks!

Cooking Temperature Too High

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and have been trying to get it to work correctly ever since. When cooking on low temperature, the contents begin to boil and the lid starts jumping after just a few short hours. Have been unable to put anything in to cook and leave it until I return home from work - which is the whole point of slow cooking - otherwise it is overcooked and sometimes burned. I have used Crock-Pots for over 40 years and never had a problem before. Finally gave up and donated it. Will be looking for another replacement for my old 6 qt. which still works after 18+ years, but the crock insert has gotten chipped. Otherwise, I wouldn't be replacing it.

Thank you so much for providing your helpful review. Please note that our newer slow cookers do cook at higher temperatures than older models. The slow cooker can also boil on high and low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker at least 2/3 - 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older slow-cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for slow cooker use. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning.
