Unstable

I recently purchased this crock pot for a family gathering. I've used this particular item once (but I have had many crock pot/slow cookers over the years). Upon preparing to use, I realized it only has 3 "legs," which makes it unstable. Rearranging my buffet took extra care as this crock pot is heavy when full, but cannot "slide" without risk of tipping. Who would design a product that's made to heat food (ie get HOT) with such an unstable footprint? It heated my food as expected, but I am quite disappointed in the design. Seems someone was not thinking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lid Doesn't fit

I was so excited about my crockpot. I take it out of box and put the lid on it and the lid doesn’t fit the crockpot. I have huge gaps on the side and it doesn’t lay flat on the crockpot. Im disappointed that the crockpot doesn't keep the heat inside because it’s not sealing. My crockpot is damaged and thats very disappointing.

Thank you for your review. Newer model Crock-Pot® slow cookers are designed with a small gap, approximately 1/4", between the lid and the stoneware. This gap prevents pressure due to steam build-up that can cause the lid to crack or shatter. If the lid were to form a perfect seal around the stoneware, the unit will operate like a pressure cooker rather than a slow cooker. Have a nice day!

Stopped working after 18 months

I had a crock pot for about 20 years which I used weekly. Although it was still working, I decided to update my model and get the 7 quart stainless steel one. I regret it because the new one stopped working after 18 months. I'm hesitant about purchasing another one because based on my experience the quality of the product is not what it used to be.

I’ve had this crock pot for a few years now and it’s never failed me, however I did manage to break the lid and am having trouble finding a replacement lid for this model.

I've had this beauty for about 9 years, and I love her so much. I'm on this site today, just bc the rubber feet finally wore out. This is after making Irish Stew every March and chili every football season and delish Leg O Lamb as shown in the accompanying photo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several crockpot brand slow cookers so I was excited to have received a 7qt cooker as a mouse warning gift. I have a 4 qt and 6qt but wanted something bigger for a family of 6!!! I finally decided to use it after a year and the stoneware cracked after one use.
