Classic, easy to use, well made crockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using the classic Crock-pot. The stainless steel outside makes it easy to clean and the removable insert is a must for cleaning up after cooking.
The outside gets a little hot when it is on the high setting. The warm feature is so helpful when it comes to your family eating at different times. This is the easiest to use of all crockpots with no frills but it gets the job done well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crockpot meals are my favorite! Cozy and easy. I’ve had this style crockpot for years! I’m glad I got a new one because I love having more than one for big gatherings. This is your basic crockpot. There’s no timers or temp changes but it works like a charm and cleans great. Love it.

I do wish I would of claimed the digital one but this one is so big and I love that it's stainless steel. Cleanup is so easy and it looks so sleek and nice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift and I can’t figure out how to make it work. When I set the stoneware into the outer aluminum pan, the unit is not well seated. It isn’t really sealed and it wiggles when you touch it. As a result, it doesn’t really get hot enough. After I cooked chili for 90 minutes, I had to transfer it to a pan on my stove. Anyone else have this experience?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Low too hot

First time use cooking split pea soup and seems extremely too hot! Normally my previous CRock Pot took 6 hours and never steamed. Can this be okay? Very concerned.

Lid doesn't fit. Dangerous.

Lid doesn't fit, actual insert is not stable nor does it fit properly, entire crockpot is unstable and extremely unsafe due to all of these issues. Very disappointed. Someone in quality failed and decided to ship a dangerous product.

Stoneware gaps were designed that way to prevent the stoneware from breaking when it expands because of the heat.
Advanced design now allows for a more effective release of steam from the cooker, which prevents any buildup of pressure and/or damage to your lid.
There should be no concern if you see a small gap between your lid and the crock itself. However, we will be happy to see a photo and assist you further.
