[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my crockpot for the first time to make taco soup. The crockpot heats up quickly. Cooks food evenly and holds the heat in really well. I love how big the 7 quart crockpot is. It’s a lot of room for bigger meats like roast and even a whole chicken could fit. I also love the fact that it had a “warm” setting. So when my soup was done, I just put it on warm and it stayed warm until it was time to eat.
The only downfall is the outside of the crockpot gets really hot and will burn you. Other than that, I give it a 10/10. Highly recommend, especially
for the size and how fast it gets hot.

Simplifies cooking

Simple to use but no timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this product to test and decided to try a new recipe. I found it to be pretty easy to use since there's only one knob but I'd definitely prefer a timer function because I like to know I can set and forget it. However, this still worked well and is a more affordable choice if you are not sure about using crock pots and want to start simple. I tested out a honey garlic chicken roast that included boneless skinless chicken thighs, carrots, potatoes, and asparagus. We then served it over rice so the rice could soak up the flavor. The chicken cooked perfectly! I will say the potatoes and carrots needed more time and the asparagus (put it in toward the later quarter of cooking) was overcooked, so it may take me a few tries to get down the timing.
