I purchased this refrig in May '13. Despite adjusting the temp controls, the items in toward the back of the first and second shelves are always getting frozen. Also, the doors don't shut and stay shut unless I close the doors pretty hard then make sure they are both pressed shut. The last two french door refrigerators I used (Jenn-Air and GE Monogram) would simply swing shut then sort of suction themselves closed with a tight seal. Not this thing. It was by no means the cheapest of the stainless French-Door refrigerators of this size. I would not buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

French doors don't work well

The french doors are a disaster. The left door never stays open, so it bangs you as you load, or worse, you open it, turn around to grab stuff, and it shuts.
You can't open the right crisper drawer without both doors being open. The left door has this big flap that means you have to actively push the door shut. That flap is also what keeps the crisper or bottom drawer from opening.

The refrigerator part works fine, but I'd expect so after 100 years or so of making them. If I had an option to change to a single door from the french door, I'd do it right now. If I could replace it with a counter depth single door of similar size, I'd do that as well. Any convenience of the smaller french doors is lost by the constant aggravation they cause.
Other niggles: Not particularly quiet.
Good things; interior cold water dispenser, freezer drawers.
Pros: Performance, well designed freezer drawers
Cons: left door doesn't shut without being pushed, can't open right crisper with only one door open, lef door doesn't stay open

This model has great looks, it's clean and and uncluttered. The shelves are well designed for maximum flexibility. I love the bottom freezer ... My first and find the compartments and shelves in the freezer very functional. Excellent performance so far keeps temp at exactly set point with almost no fluctuations. Stainless finish a little hard to maintain. But overall I am thoroughly enjoying my purchase. Would benefit from interior led lights.

Love the bottom freezer

I resisted buying a bottom freezer believing it would be difficult to locate and retrieve items. This freezer is very well designed with very easy visibility and accessibility. However, the vegetable bins are very small and poorly suited for a vegetarian.
