Much larger Capacity than "Larger" model!

KitchenAid sent this French Door model to replace my defective Side by Side. The old refrigerator was 24 cubic and the new one is 22; but I find this model is much easier to load, and stuff "fits" better. I wasn't looking forward the bottom freezer, but I am used to it now, and it also seems to hold more. The refrigerator is extremely quiet, and looks more expensive than it actually is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke in 6 months

My refrigerator stopped cooling in 6 month. A major part had to be replaced. My freezer had to be emptied in order to defrost. This happened on Thursday. The part came in on Tuesday.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was concerned about price initally but got a great deal at the time when Kitchenaid had a sale (the more appliances you bought,the better the deal - went with Kitchenaid stove, fridge, dishwasher and hood fan - very happy with all of them). Love the counter depth and the amount of room inside. We did not want to look at a water dispenser on the outside door and with the water inside,this is a great compromise. Had problems with left door after 2 months - seal broken (seems like you need to open right door first) but repaired quickly under warranty. Design at back of fridge is poor (flush rear panel with no indentations) makes it difficult to install 1/2" water supply line (fridge cannot sit flush to wall)

The Fridge is Great, except that the stainless skins rusted after 4 months.
Pros: Nice layout
Cons: skins rust

My favourite feature is the pull out deli drawer. It holds so much and it is easy access for the kids. I keep all their snacks in there so they have access to them.
Pros: Performance, Convenient Features, easy to use, Design
Cons: freezer does not fit as much as i would like

Purchased for our kitchen renovation...I was not a fan of stainless, but so far this fridge has won me over. I love the deep door trays for gallons of milk and ice tea; the large drawer in the bottom tucks food away neatly and the scoop in the ice maker was a nice touch.
