I have had nothing but good experiences with our whirlpools since we bought them. they handle some serriously heavy loads and I know that they are being gentle on our clothes as well as economical all while giving us a dependable clean. I love the tumble fresh option since I can be forgetfull, and the cycle end signals help keep me up on the laundry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small size for apartment

Replaced a top loading 15 year old with this one and am surprised how much less fits in it. I don't like all the plastic...the detergent tray slides out to fill and I can just anticipate the plastic cracking with the constant in and out. The washer was a gift so I really cant complain but with i ts small size I am not sure that this was the right one for a family that does alot of wash. Dont expect to get a comforter or blanket in this...too small. I have only used it a month and already I see water under the door after use. Gasketing or design....have to figure that one out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new Washer and Dryer

I've never owned a washer & dryer pair before that allow me to time the cycles so that they are the same. No more endless trips to the basement to see if the laundry is done!

I love this applicance coming from washing at the wash house sharing the washer not great. But this applicance is a saver LOVE IT. Easy to learn also kids love it....

I have a large family and the Whirl pool Duet front load washer and Dryer helps keep my family clothing clean. I can put in a load any time at night the quiet sound of the machine is great. i did nd willl continue to recommended this products to my family and friendsfrirnds

The machines have been working well so far and I do like the various options. It did take a bit to figure out everything it could do. Hard to tell about quality yet as I have only had them a few months. The washer cycle is quite long but the dryer is very quick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Machine constantly leaves bubbles after wash/extra rinse cycle even using less HE detergent than indicated. Usually do a second or third rinse. cycle timer is not accurate. Only have a short time window to add missed items to cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got my new washer 01/07/02. I had quite a back load of laundry and have done approx. 6 or 7 loads of clothes from delicates to towels and even a blanket. Clothes seem clean. Will take some adjustment to get accustomed to the settings but so far I have had no problems or foul ups with the washer and it seems to be functioning fine and has been easy to use. I do wish the dispenser drawer were more in the center of the machine as it is a little wide for me to fully use it with the size of my washroom folding doors.
