I love my new washer dryer stacked washer and dryer. The noise level is great since they are in a combination kitchen-den room. I like the way you load from the front. It is my first time having front loaders.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than what we had, but not what we were hoping for

1. Washing machine is too noisy.2. Clothes aren't distributed evenly in the tub to balance loads.3. Detergent drawer jambs.4 Needs a handwash cycle.5. Requires a "perfect load" to achieve balance.6. Small loads shake the house.7. Like the high rpm spin when balanced because the clothes come out nearly dry.8. Like the pedestals and storage.9. Even though I haven't used the dryer much, I like what I have seen.10. Would like a little more time between door lock and fill.11. Demand your distributors leave the shipping bolts installed until home delivery in complete.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A washer and dryer set should not require an engineering degree in order to operate it. This set does not violate that, it is easy to use and effectively cleans clothes.The only detractor is the sound level of the machines when in operation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Whirlpool Duet Front-Load Washer is simply the best. My recent purchase was a replacement for the exact machine that was lost in our home during Superstorm Sandy. (Thankfully, the matching gas dryer-also 5 star- was spared because it was stacked on top.) This machine is very quiet, cleans clothing gently but thoroughly while using minimal water and detergent (very environmentally friendly!) and is of high quality and easy to use. Even though I have the 3.5 cu. ft. model, it handles a full load with ease. I wouldn't settle for less..
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this pair to replace an old Whirlpool set we had. Best Washer and Dryer we've ever had. Uses very little soap and does a great job, very quiet also. the dryer is very fast in getting the clothes dry. We love these.

the washer broke down in less than one year. it needs door luck and motor/module assmbly. still the machine is not working. other parts seems to be defective and need replacing. we have been waiting more than one month for the machine to be repaired. the repair peple are having problemin getting the parts. we are very frustrated and dissapointed with this machine. almost all of our appliances are whirlpool brand. this washer gave us much head ache.this machine is located in our condo in NMB, SC. and we rent it during the Summer season. We are losing rent income because the washer is not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
