Spin cycle problems

This machine gets hot during the spin cycle. Not just warm, but hot. I only ever use it on a low spin setting Even when washing in cold water only, colors bleed and run in this machine. Several items have come out misshapen. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had this and its matching drier about 9 months now, and we are so very pleased with it. Clothes and linens come cleaner than we have ever been able to get them. This has to be the best thing since the washboard!
