Excellent washer for the money

This washer is excellent for the price. It is loud, but most all front loaders are. If you follow the manufacturer's instructions, it works very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad vibration during spin that Whirlpool addressed under war

It is very easy to choose a cycle based on the load. We like the fact that detergent and bleach can be added immediately after the cycle start. The washer is excellent at cleaning. The washer vibrated quite a bit just after installation, Whirlpool came out and added 2 shock absorbers for a total of 5. This has solved the problem.

Machine rebuilt twice and now on third service

I have had to have this machine rebuilt because of a bad drum that ripped up my clothes. The second time the drum broke off of the "arm" that holds it to the back of the washing machine and now it has a bad sensor. The worst part is I can't get the wet clothes out until the service person comes because of the automatic locking door. I guess I'll have some moldy clothes to look forward to replacing. This has been the worst purchase I've ever made. The best purchase is the extended warranty. I've saved at least $2000 in repair costs because of the warranty. What a pain!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy with it so far

We were given this washing machine after our previous one flooded our basement. It is a bit smaller than what we were used to, but we have been happy with the way it has performed and how quite it is.

Quite, effecient and thorough

I've been extrememly happy with the purchase of my Whirlpool Duet 3.5 Washer. The design creates a quite operation and although the washing time in normal cycle is 59 minutes, the laundry comes out very clean even though the amount of detergent and water required is much less than my older genreation washer. The 1200 rpm spin cycle removes more water from the load resulting in quicker drying times in the dryer. All told, an excellent design and great value.

greatest purchase we have made in a number of years. easy operation and best washing cycles we could have expected.unit is so quite we have to make sure it is running. front load compared to top load so much easier to load. thanks for a great product.al maske
