After taking many yoga classes in hot rooms, and community mats, I decided a towel would be great. I have to admit, it does take some getting used to, as it bunches if you aren't mindful of how you use it, but once you change your practice to include, it really is great. Also, I highly recommend washing prior to first use, to get rid of the slipperiness. Definitely buy if you frequently take hot classes, share mats with group classes and want a little extra protection for your mat and you!

I've tried a few options, but this is the best one I've found for my Bikram practice. It's very absorbent and doesn't slip much at all. I only bought a second one because after almost two years of washing, the other one got a little stiff. I think two years is a god life for a yoga towel, though!

Thirsty towel fits standard mat perfectly and soaks up lots of moisture in hot yoga studios. Sometimes seems a little slippery but overall very satisfied with it.

I purchased this towel based on the reviews and also so I didn't have to carry around my bulky bath towel to use. I'm definitely happy with my purchase. Not only is it thin, it really does absorb (even though I'm not a big sweater) and it stays put which is nice. I went ahead and washed it and it washed well too. I however didn't stick it in the dryer so not sure if doing so will affect the performance of the towel. All in all, very satisfied and will definitely be purchasing another.

I bought this towel due to its low cost and it has proven to be quite effective for the money. I may splurge a bit on my next towel to include some grip but it's not necessary. The towel is super absorbent and thin. It is perfectly adequate.
