Totally worth it!

Seriously, I never knew how much "regular" towels sucked in Bikram until I bought these thirsty towels. The difference in your yoga experience is unbelievable. They are thin enough to be unobtrusive, yet they do not slip at all. And as advertised-- they are super-absorbent and perfect for all the hot yoga drips and and dribbles. But seriously, I would totally recommend these to any Bikram yogi. I ordered the blue & green, and I was delightfully surprised that the green towel has a gorgeous pattern on it; it's barely noticeable in the product photo. You will not be disappointed!!! :)

Hot yoga can be super sweaty! So these towels as so soft and keep me in place on my mat. I love them. Wish for more color choices though :)

Great Yoga Towel!

I've been using my Thirsty Yoga Towel for 2weeks now and I LOVE it! I can use it as a blanket during meditation and as a towel during sweaty bikram sessions. My mat is on the thin side (Emerald Rubber Mat) so sometimes I lay my Thirsty Towel on top for added cushion--it even sticks to the mat! It dries quickly and has become an all-purpose wonder tool for my yoga practice. I highly recommend having one (the large towel is the same size as a standard yoga mat)

Absorbent but does not stay in place

I use this towel to do hot yoga. Although it is very absorbent, it does not stay in place well and crumples up. I had to stop my practice multiple times to straighten out the towel. Moreover, it does not cover my entire mat as it is not long enough. Overall, I am not happy with this towel for the price. If I had the choice, I would not buy this towel again.

Does not stick to mat

If you buy this mat towel, be prepared to be constantly fixing/straightening/unwrinkling it. I have an active Vinyasa practice (with the occasional Bikram class thrown in) and after using this towel a mere two times, I have discovered that it simply does not work for me. The towel constantly moves and requires straightening during transitions (which I found incredibly frustrating). And while it is a nice texture, its complete inability to stay put makes it worthless. Perhaps if your practice is less dynamic it might work. As for me, it was a waste of money.

The orange one is not good as others

I purchased the purple color and the orange one.  After washing them twice, the orange one's edge started to curl up like crazy and didn't stay on the mat anymore. The purple one is fine. I don't know why, probably the two tones are not good as the mono-color ones. The pink edge shrank more than the towel itself.  I would not purchase these towels again.

yoga towels are sooo expensive, so this one is good for those of us on a budget. it does not have any grip on either side, but it id thin nd absorbant, better than a bath towel from home. Here is a tip, bring a spray bottle to class and spray your towels edges to make them a little damp to keep it rom slipping during those first few poses before the sweat sets in.
