Best Printer Ever!

Best printer yet. I have a lot of work documents, family photos, school documents, coupons, and have had no issues. LOVE IT! Best part is I don't have to worry about one of the functions not working simply because I own a MAC.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use

This is the worst printer I ever bought. I cannot print just black and white documents as there is no option for this model printer. I think the company wants to make money by selling color ink cartridges which are high priced. Scanner is not compatible with security software especially McAfee. If any one wants to buy Canon multifunction printer please check for compatibility with security software, black and white printing option.
Pros: Compact Design
Cons: unreliable, High Ink Consumption, compatability, driver downloads

Works fast and very easy to reinstall software if your comp delete the installation, download software it' so fast and nice prints.

I researched a lot of printers before I selected this one. I've only used it for 2 days but here is the first update. Setup went well and was easy. Found my wireless network right away. I'm guessing puting the parts on the printer and getting it working took 30 minutes. The next day I took a picture of my friends with my new phone and sent it to the printer with the Air Print. The picture on the included sample paper looked as good as if I had sent it off to have printed. It was good. I don't have a lot of time on it yet but so far so good. Very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How much I enjoy this printer

I bought this printer for my photography. I am currently in college to get my associates degree and I really do love this printer. It has amazing color to it and it is very easy to use all of the features. This is a great printer to have although you do have to make sure to have 5 different ink cartriges for it, but it is deffinatly worth it.

Very Disappointed

This printer replaced an older Canon multi-function and I couldn't wait to use it. However, I have been very disappointed in it. The print quality on photos is not the stunning "lab-type" I expected, even though I've used several types of photo paper. The ink consumption is enormous. The printer takes an aggravatingly long time to warm up. And the rear document feeder can only be used when printing photos. If you want to print a page of labels, for example, you have to "fool" the printer into thinking you are using photo paper in order to print labels from the rear tray. And this takes an enormous amount of ink. Bottom line - don't buy!

Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption, rear tray unavailable for documents

great for the price

you get what you pay for, this is not a high quality photo printer, but it does a decent job with a photo once and a while. I bought it for reliability and it works every time I turn it on and need to print, even from my cell phone.
The scanner works great and I have thrown out so much paper that it made it worth the price.

the second larger black ink tank is a good move
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, easy to use, large black ink tank
Cons: in most cases it is good to know computer stuff
