Best Present Ever

I Love the Quality of this product, along with Price
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

Mostly fine equipment

I've been satisfied with speed, color quality, use of ink, and general operation. However in less than a year the printer will has stopped printing using the red . I have tried three cartridges, and reinstalled the software with no results

Photo printing is fast and easy. Quality is excellent. Ink is not inexpensive though.
The ease of printing on both sides was useful for me.Speed isn't great but certainly acceptable. I've used this one for nearly 3 years so I think it has paid for itself. When it fails, I will be looking at Canon printers again.

Larger ink reservoirs may suit better this greate printer. If any larger reservoirs option in the market, please let us know.

not a long life

it worked well for the first year, nothing but head aches since then, need a new printer, the scan never worked, will not buy another canon

Great for 5 years

This printer worked very well for 5 years before developing print issues that required frequent regular or deep cleaning. It was really a good quality printer that we liked a lot, but its getting harder to keep working so may attempt to clean the printhead (which isnt recommended by anyone) to keep it in service. Ink just takes its toll on the printhead after 5 years I guess? I will keep buying Canon for its quality but printer life is always an unknown, sometimes disappointing.

Okay Printer, but not Scanner

I've had this printer for several years and the MP Navigator software that is necessary to run the scanner simply won't install on my Win10 Alienware system. I get an error message saying a compatible printer is not installed. Don't recommend.
