Good but problems

The price was excellent and the print quality is good but even with high quality paper I get paper jams. To make it worse, paper jams near the output tray are very hard to get at given the construction and the online help doesn't cover jams near the output tray. In the future I would not buy a low-end printer like this.

Very good printer

The Canon® Pixma® MG5320 All-in-one Printer is a welcome addition to my Home Office computer system. (Desktop, Windows 7-64bits, Netgear® router)
Very easy to install. In a matter of minutes I had it connected to my WI-FI router and ready to test. In my many years of experience supporting personal computers, I have never encounter any other product of similar value and functionality that was easier to install than this handsome unit.
Since I have this printer for less than a month, I haven’t been able to test all its offered options and I can’t comment about them. I’m looking forward to find out its maintenance costs.
For low to medium volume requirements I would highly recommend it.

Bad Machine

Don't buy this machine for these reasons: 1. poor print quality--I would not use this to print photos worth keeping; 2. very, very slow printing--it takes a long time to start printing & it pauses between printing documents, which means you have to hover over your computer to turn printer back to print; 3. scanner does not scan via network--needs cable so it's not useful at all. :(
Cons: Dull Tones & Colors, unreliable, Slow Print Speed, High Ink Consumption, doesn't scan w/o cable, pauses between print docts

Good Home Printer

This is a good home/small office printer/scanner/copier. I have it hooked up to our wireless network and I have no problem scanning or printing documents from two different laptops. This printer is fast and has good print quality for what I use it for. I do not print photos or photo quality prints but I'm sure with the correct paper and ink this printer would do a good job. So far so good with this printer. I will leave the issue of ink consumption alone. I just replaced the black ink cartridge for the first time after 6 months. I will see how long this cartridge lasts. We don't overuse the printer.
Pros: reliable, fast print speed, easy to use, Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors
I would recommend this to a friend!

Trouble

I have had this printer for over one year. It is complete frustration every time I try to print wirelessly. None of our IOS devices will print. It worked a few times after the firmware update but nothing since. On the bright side if you turn the wireless off and connect a USB it works good. I feel like I paid for something I didn't get. I have always had Canon printers and this one is terrible!!!
Cons: Difficult to use, unreliable

Worked Great until I had to replace the ink. Could not get it to work again. When out and purchased a simple printer.
Pros: Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, High Ink Consumption, unreliable

Wireless with Win 8 is not good

Just does not work well with Win 8 wireless. Drivers? Which one? This should be an ez relationship between Win and Canon.

I have had 2 other brands of 3-in-1 copiers that I prefer to this particular Canon. They were much easier to operate right out of the box. I found this one to be more complicated than I'd anticipated. I've spent way too much time looking for downloaded pictures, scanned documents, and trying to move items from one folder to another. I have not printed pictures on this unit yet the ink seems to be evaporating; I hardly print anything, and then in b/w to save ink since it's not cheap. Other Canon models may be easier to operate but I'll think long & hard before purchasing another.
