New Epson Printer NX430

I just purchased this new Epson NX430 Small In One printer scanner about two days ago. It was very easy to set up and everything went well. I have only printed a couple of test pages and a few documents and photos with the printer portion of this unit at this time. I have scanned 15 or 20 photos and saved them to my computer. The photo scanning and saving went very well and I really like the fact that you can scan several photos at once and then save them in individual files, that's a really nice feature. The only negative that I see at this time is that the printer does not seem to be able to be turned on and off from a surge protector power strip. You are not supposed to unplug the unit while it is on so turning off a power strip would be the same as unpluging the unit. Until someone tells me different I will be turning the unit on and off at the power button on the units control panel. If anyone knows a better way please let me know. All in all this Epson Small In One printer/scanner is a very nice unit with a small footprint. Also the unit is very quite.

The NX430 is a very easy inkjet printer to setup
on a home computer. Also, the instructions that
appear on your computer make it very simple to
setup the driver(s) and download updates. I am very impressed with its ease of operation. It would be ideal for small jobs, students and children at home.>>>END

Super easy set up

Since I am not very computer savvy, I was a little leary about buying a wireless printer. Heard some horror stories about the set up. This printer was super easy to set up. It walked me through step by step and worked the first time. And it is affordable. So far I have only printed a few items since I just took it out of the box a few hours ago, but the print quality is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The printer has met all my wife and my own expectations and then some, I will be telling all my friends, how much I like this Epson and I've had other Epson printers and scanners before and they've always been the easiest and most reliable, I expect this aways from Epson.

So Far So Good

Just got this unit today. It was an easy set up. I followed the directions, and had all the numbers for the wireless printing set up and it worked perfectly. I have not had it long enough to know if it is a good unit.
