Printer Set UP

I found it very difficult to set up this wireless printer. The diskette stopped in the middle and wouldn't start up again. The screen on the printer is also very confusing. All I wanted was a simple printer to print some things at home. I ended up getting a neighbor to come in and finally get it set up for me and it will take me a month to figure the thing out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

PRINTER INSTALL

I FOUND THIS PRINTER VERY HARD TO INSTALL ON 3 HOME COMPUTERS (2 WIRELESS/1 STAND ALONE).
THE FIRST, AND NEWEST, LAPTOP WAS THE EASIEST. THE OTHER LAPTOP, BEING AN OLDER MODEL AND LESS USED, WAS SLOW AND WOULDN'T TAKE THE INSTALL DISK. THE STAND ALONE COMPUTER WOULDN'T TAKE THE DISK EITHER. I SPENT HALF THE NIGHT ON EPSON WEBSITE TRYING TO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS, ETC.
ALSO, WHEN I INITIALLY WENT TO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS, I GOT SOME KIND OF 'DRIVER DETECCTIVE' - THOUGHT THIS WAS THE EPSON SITE - JUST WANTED ME TO PURCHASE SOFTWARE FOR $30 !!! PAIN IN THE 'YOU KNOW WHERE' !!!

PAUSE FOREVER!

This printer worked fine until I tried to print from my new MacBook Air. It is hooked up, software installed etc. etc. but will NOT print. So frustrating! & nowhere to go for help!! For some reason it stays on PAUSE no matter what I try! I know this model is already obsolete. Of course, I just replaced all the ink cartridges. I'm not sure I would try an Epson Printer again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is the second Epson Printer I have had and find it wonderful. It is so easy to use. I only needed one for printing and copying so it fits my needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend it. My first Epson lasted 4 1/2 years and was in use constantly.
