this printer is still new to me so, hard to give full review. I'm disappointed with the loudness. This is the third Epson I have owned and the first one was the best. I purchased this one because I need copying and scanning ability. I love Epson but, I don't think this is one I would recommend to a friend. I believe I will still pick Epson but, will make sure the quality is higher.

Set up is a nightmare!

I've been at it for 3hiurs and I can't get it to work as a wired printer let alone a wireless one - which is why I bought it in the first place!

Paper feeder is bad

Having the relatively unsupported paper feeder at the back of the machine (backfeeder) instead of on a tray in the front (bottom loader) makes it difficult to load and causes jams. I have two Epson printers and have the same problem with both of them.
I find the software in the printers a pain in the neck to go through all the steps to change a cartridge, for example. Let alone to scan.

I unfortunately had to have a copier/scanner that I could carry with me wherever I travelled but after asking my son about your brand, he told me all the people at his work use them wherever they go. That told me alot about them. I happen to be one of those people that hates technology but this was a VERY pleasant experiance. Very easy to install and simple to use-copies great and scans well. Will have to wait to see how durable but looks good so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is by far the best printer to have for personal use. It's unbelievably cheap, too easy to set up, and has a wireless feature to cut down on cords. This make it convenient for people who like me, don't want to get out of bed in the morning but need to use the printer in another room of the house. Love it!!!
