I have used this machine for 2 or 3 years and just added it to a new computer. I purchased it first because it could operate wireless and could also scan. I have several printers, but this is the only one that I use, because I have found it to do everything that I require and is very easy to use. I have never had to do anything except add paper and ink (Great little machine)
I would recommend this to a friend!

installation problem

Booklet recommends using a cable hook up while installing your wireless connection. It didn't work. Kept getting a message that it couldn't find my printer. I started over following directions for not using the cable and it worked. The difference is the second set of directions asks for a network pswd - the first set does not. Maybe that's the problem?

I was happy for the most part with the Epson Stylus, EXCEPT for the main reason I bought it: the two sided printing. I go to a school that offers the "two sided printing" WITHOUT having to Manually turn the pages over and put them back in to print. The school printer leaves the page in the printer and prints BOTH sides before it moves it on out. This was a totally misleading feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LCD display damaged

Plugged it in to setup wireless, powered it up and the LCD screen wasn't readable: smudges and color lines obliterated the screen. Now have to return it for new one. Hoping the next will be in working order, then I can review it's functionality in regard to actually printing. Where's Quality Assurance?

I bought this printer to use with our wireless stuff and it works great. Everything we have, no matter what room you are in, hit print and yes it prints. It's fast and the colors are awesome. It will scan and copy, does a great job of that. Also takes your memory cards for photos. I haven't tried that feature yet, but I'm sure it will do an awesome job of that too. Yes, I highly recommend this printer. Our iPads, iPhones, everything wireless finds and prints. Good buy for the price too.

This printer is a bit noisy when starting to print.
I could not figure out how to adjust size of item to print. Everything prints very large.

What I like most about this Epson product is deeply integrated software. Software that enables one touch button type of earlier Epson Twain flatbed scanners to desktop icon enabled printing monitoring. Monitor via all Wi Fi and network sharing capable devices
