NX430 is a dog

Went through 2 of these following the setup to the letter. Both were unsuccessful in setup and gave printer error and would no longer even initialize/power up. Stay away from this DOG!!!

Purchased Epson NX430 Jan 30,2012, it took me a little time to understand how it operated but it has been working fine...........only problem is the black ink is low and I have used it for around 15 days. Refills could be costly at this rate.............Other than that so far it has worked as I expected it to....Haven't tried all the options that it can do as of yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far I can not get this printer to consistantly print black pages. I clean the heads ( which uses a lot of ink ) and still get some pages that have blurred words.

My black ink doesn't work about half of the time. I have changed it twice with the same results.
This producd is not worth it.

Have to use Epson paper

I would not recommend this printer for 2 reasons... I was sold the printer as a copier/printer/scanner in one. Well, copying is a one document at a time process. Also, the printer will only print photos on Epson paper. I have never owned a printer that fussy about the paper!
Other functions of the printer are okay, but it would be worth your while to spend a little bit more for the convenience of multi-document copying and a greater selection of printing papers.

Okay printer for light use

We use the printer at the salon for printing emails and bookkeeping sheets. The wireless signal doesn't always respond and it seems to take a very long time for things to come out. The sheet feeder is upright, so the pages are often askew.
Would not buy this printer again.
