Easy to install. Now my husband has a printer, too, since this is wireless. Small and compact. Overall, perfect. I have always stuck with Epson for my printing needs.

Unit was affordable, easy to carry and easy to set up but has only worked for maybe 6 months and now is only printing partially about every 3rd line. The ink cartridge viewer claims they are ok. I realinged the heads, cleaned the heads etc and it still does not work.

Won't print

I purchased my Epson NX430 and loved it for about a year when it decided to quit printing. It pushes a sheet of paper through and then says its out of paper and won't print. I have downloaded new firmware and drivers but still same results.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I first bought my Epson stylus NX430 I absolutely loved it. It was my 1st printer w/scan. Now it doesn't want to print. I've cleaned heads and nozzles and even changed the ink cartridges twice thinking I bought bad ink. I can print. I print coupons and discounts for shopping in department stores. It's not even been 2 yrs since I bought it and it doesn't work. Can you repair or should I just buy a new one. I won't buy Epson again if I can't get this fixed,

A solid Product

I purchased this printer/scanner a couple of years ago when I upgraded to a new Mac Pro laptop. The price was right and I have used it for home purposes with great satisfaction.
The scanner feature is excellent and the printing is just what I need for my home uses.

The setup was a little primitive with the need to use the arrows on the machine to spell out the information required but that only needs to be done once.

Perfect for home

It works and links to all the devices in the house. Keeps things simple and lets me put the computer on one side of the room and the printer on the filing cabinet.
Or go upstairs and print out an article or email.
Great ink, great printer.

Great support on set up

A technician spent an hour with me setting up my Stylus NX430 small-in-one. I doubt that I could have done it without the phone support. When finished both my computers connected and operated via WiFi. The only negatives that I've found is that some of the minor scanning functions aren't operable. Perhaps another session with a support person will get that fixed. I would have rated this 5 stars if every thing worked from the beginning.
