wifi doesn't work

I've had this NX430 for over a week now and cannot get the wifi to work on any of my 2 pc's or iPad. Have had other wifi all in one's that were a breeze to set up and operate. Not my experience with this Epson NX430. Very disappointing and don't think I'll be buying another Epson product soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy setup

Ok,just purchased it I did a usb setup on my XP desktop and wireless setup on my vista laptop. Went smooth and easy,word of caution,dont let windows downwload firmware, do it from cd provided. My intial test print was blurry,went to epson help and it read to turn off fast print whiched worked. Love its sleek design and small footprint. Also downloaded epson printer app for my Ipad, just test printed something from that works like a charm. this maybe a five star expierence. Hopefully I can update this later.

Set-up a bit of a chore

I had difficulty setting up the NX430 in my home wireless network. The set up went fine if the printer was connected to my laptop with a USB cable, but with wireless connectivity, I kept getting a message that the printer was not found and that "firmware" installation had failed. After the sixth attempt to install the printer, I thought "what the heck" I'll try connecting the printer to my laptop with the USB cable when I get to the failure message. It worked (so far), which is (1) entirely counter-intuitive since I was installing the printer in a wireless network and had already disconnected the USB cable as instructed, and (2) not mentioned or even alluded to in the set-up instructions. A friend of mine also purchased an NX430 and had trouble installing it in a wireless network, so I'm inclined to think this "bug" is real.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My printer/scanner

Once I figure out how to get everything up and running, I love my printer/scanner. It's a great addition to my family. I no longer have to go else where to print. Only thing finding the ink for printer in the store is a headach. This ink doesn't stay on the shelf at all. So if you see it buy it. If not you always have the opption to buy online from the web site that is an added pluse.

Worked perfect on both IPad and Laptop

I have been looking for a printer that can print my doc on my iPad, but didn't want to pay too much since I already have two another printers, then I found this one within my price range.I think this printer works well for the price I have paid. I recommend to my sister, and she got one too.

Not being very computer savvy I have my son do all the set-ups and tech info screening. This time I couldn't wait a long time for him to connect my NX430 so I decided to try it myself. Well it was so easy , even for me. The only problem I had was after the initial set-up and coping I somehow switched paper from plain to photo and couldn't understnd why the paper wouldnt feed; until I switched back to plain paper. And, the price is right too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this printer got such great reviews - I was so happy to get it and set up was really easy - THEN I see the downside - I cannot access the scanner. There is a note - not at the beginning, but at the end - that the scanner doesn't work with Mac.10.6 or 10.7. A scanner is very important to me , so this may be a deal breaker. Just wish someone had mentioned it BEFORE I had completed the set up.
