Why was my original review rejected? In your ad video it shows the printer almost spitting out the childs picture named Vacation. If I try to print a 8x10 picture, it would take at least five minutes to complete. B+W documents are great and fast.
Color, forget it.

Good Value - Missing Features

At fifty-nineninety-nine from Of**ce D**ot, this little printer is a good value, but a bit short on features (ya get what ya pay for...). It was an easy install on 2 Macbooks running Leopard, and pretty straightforward on my iMac running Snow Leopard. It took a full 2 hours to get my Mac Mini, running Lion, set up with the drivers. Just Work! at it. Very convenient to print from the iPad 2 (ios 5.01).
It has a nice, small footprint, and it is glossy black plastic, which is a great background to show off fingerprints or accumulating dust. Reasonable speeds for printing and scanning. My old HP LaserJet had a sleep mode. It is quite a hassle to have to turn this puppy on before printing, or wait for everything to print after turning it on. Print quality is very good to excellent on both text and color photos. I wish that it had a drawer for the paper so it isn't just sitting out in the humidity gathering dust between print jobs. I haven't tried printing from a card, a useless feature for me. Unless you print under 200 pages a year, use the high capacity cartridges.

NX430 Epson Printer

I can't say enough about how great this printer performs. What a dream to set-up, it took all of about 10 minutes to set up 2 wi-fi laptops. Worked great on both of them. You can't go wrong with this one

While epson wants me to make a review when I only got the printer 2 hours ago is beyond me but so far I like it. I have a mac and it was easy to set it up. I like its ability to be used from my i phone

ease of set_- up

i am an absolute unknowing technical person,have no computer skills,and can barely follow prompts, yet I was able to set up and use my printer within 2 hours of trying...2 hours because i could not do it via WI-FI...but I knew enough to buy a USB cable...and voila, done...for me 2 hours is the speed of light. Thank You Epson

Great 3 in 1 printer

Bought this printer as a Christmas gift to myself to replace my old 4 in 1 printer that had seen better times. It was easy to set up and prints great. The photo printer is much better than my old printer. Since it is a WiFi printer, I know it will be perfect when we travel in our camper. Right now I usually use a USB cord with it. My husband has used the WiFi printing capability though and it worked perfectly. Very reasonably priced. I am finding that as some others have stated, the black ink supply does not last long. I have just ordered a high capacity black ink cartridge and hope that will last longer than the one that was shipped with the printer.

Smooth wireless install

If you buy this printer for no other reason, buy it for the engineering that went into the install software. There are so many other companys that fail to reach the level of ease that Epson has reached with this software. I set up the printer, installed into the wireless network and updated the printer itself with a few clicks of the intuitive software. I now know i am using the latest drivers, my wifi is solid and the printer has been flashed to the latest version. All this from just putting a cd into computer and following the promts. Its just doesn't get any easier then this.
