Epson Printer NX430

I have had several Epson printers over the years and have had good experiences with all of them from Dot Matrix to Stylus. The NX430 falls right in line with the others in print quality, speed and dependability. I especially like the Wi-Fi capability as anyone in the house can send their printing jobs to it and know that they will get a good, fast print. Thanks Epson. Keep up the good work.

Installation

I had difficulty with my computer reading the provided installation disc. I went to the web site as listed under the Epson technical support section of the provided instructions. I could not download the drivers. I was forwarded to "Driver Robot" where I probably could download what I needed for a price!!

This printer is worthless

I bought this printer less than a month ago and it has stopped working. That is to say, it lights up, makes all the right noises and puts paper through the pathway, but there is no ink on the paper. I've done all the maintenance things (nozzle alignment, print head alignment, etc.), including putting brand new cartridges in and the result is the same. I've probably spent more time troubleshooting this printer than I have printed on it. I'll never buy another Epson product!

I am a freelance photographer and have always used Epson professional printers. My older daughter needed a color printer that can print quality prints, scan, and have the WI-FI capabilities (laptop). Cost of the cartridges is a consideration as well. NX-430 fits the bill and it is very compact when desk space is limited. I am impress with the quality of prints but not as good Stylus Pro 4880 which I use. Good job Epson for an ideal compact quality color printer with your quality standards!

The printer is connected to my computer using a USB, running Windows 7, but I cannot get it to print text. So far all I got was one blank page. I cannot find a solution to this problem. Where can I find a soltion?

I went looking for ink for my old printer and saw this at a sale rack price for almost the same price as new ink for my old printer. That alone was a deal-maker but when I set it up at home and saw how easy it was to connect to wifi, I almost wanted to get another... Hope it lasts longer than my last one that wasn't an Epson. Love the color quality and its size.

Good machine easy set up. Problem is with scanning. Do not get to set the title and for document before it is saved. After it is saved you have to look for the document. Everything goes to pictures.
