Turning on problem

Have had printer for over a year now and up to about a month or so ago, it's been working great. However, a few months ago when trying to turn on printer, the panel lights just keep flashing on and off and I think it has something to do with the ink return bar. It's not locking into the position it's suppose to be. Other than that, it's been working great, that's when I can turn it on.

Confused.

Now that I finally got my printer and laptop to communicate with help from tech support, I really like the flexability that it provides. I am confused, though, when looking through the list of inks to find that the model has already been discontinued. I am confused as to how I can order ink from you.

I ordered this printer to replace another EPSON printer Workforce 435 which did not last longer than 13 months. I hope NX430 will work longer. I am satisfied with NX430 so far. It meets all my needs and expectations. Thank you!

I honestly like this small "all in one". It was easy to set up and add additional computers ( I have 5 but using 3 to print all wireless ). The touch screen is nice

What a great little printer! The copier and scanner function was a bonus. I didn't realize how often the copier and scanner would come in so handy. To top it all off, this little gem is easy on the ink!! What more could I ask for.

Best small all-in-one printer

Everything about this printer is A+. In true Epson style, it prints beautiful sharp pictures, scans well into both JPG and PDF, and prints quietly and fast enough for me. I researched this purchase, read extensive reviews because I needed a small size and wanted a flat surface area on top. I had a previous fairly new Epson printer that I broke when I forced an ink cartridge. I liked it but wanted to use the opportunity to replace everything on it that bothered me, e.g., the paper was hard to load and the top surface was angled so papers kept sliding off. This printer is easy to load paper and to do so from a seated position. I did not want the input and output trays together in front because people generally reported that as problematic. I didn't need a fax because I have one. I also have the current Epson impact printer (24 pin dot matrix) and think it also gets an A+.

Good And Bad

I bought the NX430 because of its size, wireless capability and overall functionality. When it works, it delivers on all counts. Problem is, I use it with Mac computers, and most times there's a problem with the wireless functions. It seems like they're not exactly compatible. And I always end up spending an hour troubleshooting and trying to reconnect the printer either to the router, or to the computer. Its very annoying. Even printing from the iPad is annoying. Its a great printer. But the wireless function needs improvement.
