So far so good

I've only had this printer for a week but so far it's doing everything it promised. Set-up instructions were clear; it took me about half an hour. I love the wireless aspect. It's small enough that I could put it on a side table in the dining room and not feel it was too obnoxiously out of place. Saves me from running up two flights for the big printer. It's remarkably fast and the print quality is fine for my purposes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set up is difficult. Instructions are not so clear. I was unable to see my wireless network. I spent about 30 minutes searching the internet to find a solution and it was fixed by updating firmware on the unit. To do this you must use a USB cable. The unit does not come with it so if you do not have one you must buy or borrow. After this was completed everything was a breeze.

Easy to set-up. Quiet operation. Worth and economy-wise. A little pale in color when i try to produce one photo in a photo paper but no big deal on that.

I operated this printer in moderate duty for an estimated five weeks before it experienced a mechanical failure of one of the white plastic pieces which aligns the roller transporting paper through the printer. This mechanical failure was visible just under the black plastic box holding the ink cartridges. Prior to the failure this printer was quite noisy When positioning the paper prior in preparation for printing. Due to the immediate need for a printer, it has been replaced by another model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used Epson products and Stylus model printers for over 12 years this has not disappointed. We even bought one for my husband too. Easy to set up. It's ready to go within seconds of turning it on and prints beautifully. I love it and seriously recommend it!
