Just installed - firmware updated - So easy

I was amazed how everything was smooth. The installation software was very clear with lots of screen snapshots : you can't be lost. It found my wifi network and i just gave my wifi network password. Then it proposes me to update the firmware of the printer : incredible. It downloaded from Internet and then downloaded to the printer automatically.... Printing is nice and fast. I am more than happy with his little "small-in-one", very very smart printer.

I bought the printer to use for publishing a newsletter once per year. I am pleased with the speed and quality. I do wish it was easier to find where to view the current ink cartridge use utility - I did eventually figure out where to locate it. The one on the top of the menu does not update often enough to be useful. When I had about 20 papers on the bottom collection tray, it did start to bunch up and caused a few smudges, but now I know to watch the printer and collect the papers out of the tray more frequently.

I am so very happy with my printer and the results obtained. The only thing I have to question is why after inserting a cartridge does it take some time hours to reconnect. I contacted a few friends who have printers by Epson and their's are not as new as mine and they say same thing with their printer. May be if wwe address this future purchares will have an answer and Epson will have solved the problem or show others what to do to minimize the wait. Thanks

All printers are too big now and do too many things for my little home office. Since I already have a scanner I needed something compact and efficient, which it is. Hooked up easily and I am really pleased with the quality of printing. My scanner is an Epson as well and I like their products.

Epson All-in-One

For general home usage I find this to be quite a good choice. The print quality is more than sufficient for my purposes and photo quality was very good (using specified photo paper). Too early to tell on ink usage but so far seems okay and in the general range of like printers. The only fault I have found is for double sided printing. When performing this act you need to return to the computer and click on 'resume' after flipping the pages at the printer. This is okay IF the printer is nearby, but since it IS a wireless device this may not be the case and it may be located in a different room. Other than that ONE fault I would give it five stars. Good price, decent quality prints.
