simple for rookies

set-up was a breeze. the instructions were simple and this printer not only connected with my new mac but also with my older pc on my wireless network. the printer is in a far corner of the house and picks up signal fine. i've only printed a few trial pages but so far 100% happy. thanks to apple for the recommendation

epson stylus nx430 small in one to those want to scan printer copy photo and work with wifi thats good because everything must be easy and fast in this feature what you looking for. very affordable too,only to improve is to download much easier,fast with no hassle software and hardware.keep it up

great all around printer & scanner

had seen some negative reviews about using this printer with mac osx 10.7, but had no problems setting it up using wifi, very user friendly, it also works great with our older mac running osx 10.5. the scan quality is way better than our old scanner, the options allow the scan to be adjusted to increase quality. print quality is good. especially like the compact size in my small office! is a little noisier than my prior epson, but isn't something i can't live with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We like our printer. It was easy to install and prints very well. The only drawback we see is that it is very slow, especially when printing a picture. That can take up to 5 minutes. If you aren't in a hurry, it's great!

Great bargain - and really does work with OS 10.6!

I love this machine! It was easy to set up, simple to connect to a wireless network, and a great bargain to boot! There is no fax capability, but it seems these days that sending .pdf files is preferable to faxes anyway (and we don't even have a land line anymore). I was a little afraid that it was not going to scan to my mac running OS 10.6, but it was not an issue at all. Even though Epson Scan doesn't run on 10.6, apple has drivers that work with this machine, so if your software updates are up to date, the scan function should work automatically.

my other brand broke during the irene storm.needed something inexpensive- fast when the power came back on,,the wifi , printer + computer are all in separate rooms on different levels.excellent wireless connectivity,good paper feed. the starter cartridges it came with lasted longer than expected,thank god, bought an extra set ink cartridges with it. have needed to do alot of printing, to be fair,+ the 4 cartridge set from epson are about 1/2 the price of the 2 from the old compeditors printer. i find the machine itself to be just great.installed easily + is simple to use, great small inexpensive machine very happy with the purchase,nice design,light,portable happy customer.may the ink never run out.
