Quiet, looks nice, exhausts primarily from left side

Fan & motor are pretty quiet. Unit looks nice even though it's assembled with silicone caulk, double stick tape and pop rivets.
Lighting is great.
Despite statements to the contrary in the unit manual, having the fan motor on the left side means that except at very high fan speeds the hood exhausts mostly from the left side and the steam from a pot on the right will rise into the room, not be vented outside.

great range hood. still going strong and no problems since i bought it several years back.had 1 problem once, lights wouldn't turn off after power outage. Googled the problem and it was a easy fix.its sill working great today

Best feature combination available, but could be improved

We selected this hood because it had the best combination of features available at the time. After using it for over 3 months, there are some picky things that continue to annoy me. Lighting is much brighter than it needs to be. I usually use the low setting, but don't see much difference between low, med and high settings. Also, halogens are hot and use much electricity. Hopefully, I can find LED replacements when they blow. Also, the filters are great, but do not fit easily in our 18" dishwasher. It would have been better to have 3 smaller filters covering the same area. Overall, a great product, but room for improvement...maybe some after-market upgrades could be made available.
