I like the looks of the newer Expedition watch. It's very easy to read the time day or night. The watch is available in 2 colors, brown/green and black/silver. I chose the black/silver and was disappointed to find the strap on that watch had a Velcro closure, which is bulkier than the regular buckle strap that was advertised on the brown/green watch and is definitely not as easy to put on one's wrist.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The watch is great. Expedition has everything I need for roughing it and it is comfortable to wear. The band gets ‘stuck’ to things because Velcro does that. I may change the band, but not the watch. Had a glitch with the date feature but manually corrected and seems to be fine.

This watch is quite a bit smaller than my other Timex, which is good for me. I have lost some of the muscle in my arms, so this one fits much better. It is still very easy to read and has just about all the same things as my other Timex. It is also easy to set, which is good because I do everything in 24 hour time, not 12.

This watch is so perfect. It has all the functions I need, it is waterproof, nice and slim (who needs a big fat shiny watch), has a very comfortable band and has an understated natural earthtone look. For me no other watch compares.
