Excellent Top End Phone

This phone does everything you need it to do and its a nice compact design. The lack of a bezel truly creates a phone that is both small yet big with its 5.5 screen size. I love it.

LG G3 is a great phone for the price

Keeping this short LG G3 is a great phone if you're in the market for an upgrade. Now this next part I say if you want to upgrade from G2 to G3 I don't technically recommend it. It's missing certain "In the box" features like Wireless Storage, and a few other things that I've noticed that made G2 a little more convenience. That's not to say G3 is bad by all means compared to any phone maybe except Note 4 G3 for the money blows the comp away.
This is just for anyone that had a G2 or G2 Pro I don't recommend you guys upgrade that's just my honest opinion on it.
As for the rest of the phone QHD is great, but not everything uses it so that might seem like a con at least for right now, but when Youtube did allow 1440p videos it was great feature to have. Compared to old G2 though I do admit everything is cleaner, and more flow with the UI. I have witness lag, but not much and if it does it's corrected itself quickly.
Battery life is hit/miss sometimes I've gone a whole day without the charger, but others feels like it only takes a little just to take the battery like maybe 6 hours, but that's only when I'm doing heavy stuff. If you're worried about that get a ZeroLemon case has extra 9000 mah battery attached I hear they are good.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

They've Come a Long Way, Baby!

I am very impressed with my LG G3. I would have given the overall rating a 4.5, but they only offer the choice of a 4 or a 5. The reason it's not a 5 is because, to be honest, it's not a Galaxy 5, and it's not an iPhone 6+ (in some ways, it's better than both of these).
The screen is not as crisp as the Galaxy 5, probably because of the glass not being the dark Amoled screen the Galaxy uses to make the colors pop. However, the pixels are there, and some things look so much better on the G3 than the Galaxy (the detail of the calculator is as close to perfect as I have seen!).
The G3 definitely has the processing power, if not more, than the Galaxy S5, but let's admit it - there is nothing out there that beats the smoothness of the iOS operating systems (although I prefer the versatility of Android over iOS any day!).
One thing that is a little disappointing for me is the battery drain. I have done everything I can to reduce the drain, and it still lasts longer than most other Android phones, but why can't we get an Android phone that has the staying power of an iPhone? The good news is, the battery is replaceable, so you can carry a spare. However, I like to use Otterbox as my case, which is a bit of a hassle to take off just to replace the battery on my G3, so I just make sure I plug it in once or twice a day to give it a boost to make it through the whole day. Of course, I do admit that I use my phone a lot - texting, pictures, and other apps - but as I write this review, the settings tell me that I have been on battery for 4 hours and 46 minutes, and that I have only 3 hours and 17 minutes left. I expected much more given the G3's battery specs.
I love the camera (you can do front and back at the same time, but why?), and as long as the subject is still, the 13mp pictures are crisp and clear. If the subject moves, forget about it, and there is no option for "sports" or "fast moving objects" on it. I think most Android phones have this issue, and the pictures are far better than my previous Moto X (1st generation) produced. However, my old 8mp Galaxy Skyrocket took some really good pictures, moving or otherwise. I think the focusing brackets on the G3 are a bit of overkill, as all I am ever really interested in is making sure I am center focused.
The G3 has a dual window option, which many of the top line phones now have, but I don't get it - it's like using two small screen phones at the same time. I bought big because I like big, so I am a single-window user, always. The phone body is sturdier than the Galaxy 5S, and it's easy to grasp and hold in one hand while using one-handed operation. However, this is not relevant for me, since most of the time I have my enormous Otterbox on it for protection. Also, I am still trying to get used to the power and volume buttons located on the back of the phone. The nice this is, I can turn the screen on or off by tapping it twice (not the same as the tap pattern for security). However, I don't like running my finger over the camera lens every time I try to turn the volume up.
I am still trying to get used to the G3 keyboard, since I have used Swiftkey for so long. However, Swiftkey was the major battery drainer on my G3 so I am using the stock keyboard. It's pretty nice, and very responsive, but the key size and spacing, as well as word prediction, do not compare to the versatility of the Swiftkey keyboard. Nevertheless, the swipe is as smooth, if not smoother, than any other keyboard I have used. I just have to get used to all this punctuation marks being on different keys than what I am used to, as well as the fact that a space is not added after words until you type and enter the next word (unless you use a predicted word).
Storage is more than adequate (I have the 32gb version of the G3); more than I will ever use (especially since I learned a long time ago that Android operates at peak if the internal SD card is no more than half full). I store my pictures on the external/removable SD card, and you can use up to 128gb for that, so storage is more than I think anyone will ever need, at least for a phone.
I hate bloatware, and the G3 has its share, although I seem to have been able to disable most of what I don't want with no repercussions. I'm not into the tapping security and all the bells and whistles that other people are. I want performance, and I get that with the G3.
Two other points: I am still waiting for the Lollipop (Android 5.0) update that was promised by the end of the year. And twice now, the G3 has rebooted on me for no apparent reason. I've had my phone for a couple of months now, so this is not a major issue, but hopefully the next update (4.4.4 or 5.0) will resolve it.

I don't change phones continuously but when i buy one I try to buy a quality product and in this case is a quality product, it's fast with high quality screen and memory 3 of RAM and 32GB of internal Space + micro SD in my case 64GB, the battery performance is up to two days if I don't use too much the phone, if uses the folio case with a circle it showing a circle screen "Quick Circle" and is great because you can use multiple apps without open it, some of them are the camera, answer calls, the clock can display the weather; the Knock On and the Knock Code is great actually I try to use it by habit in other devices, I am really satisfied with the purchase.

Great phone and features. but not perfect 99%

Love the phone, the screen, the memory and the LG overlay of android. I got it cheap so will worth it for me. But the battery full notification that can't be disabled. A bigger battery would be great and inductive charging is a God send. I was told this phone is capable of it, but not the us model??? Other then those little things it's a great phone.

This phone is truly an upgrade from what I had before! The size and the features are exactly what I wanted in a hand held device. LG has officially become my go to brand.
