Do not waste your time researching electric perks. This is my family's 4th consecutive West Bend over many years. We use it day and night! If you like hot coffee that remains hot until the last drop, go no further. We enjoy our first cup at different hours of the morning and the 7 am brew is just as hot and delicious as the last cup at noon! Trust me!

We had one before for a few years, liked it, so we ordered another. The only problem with it was the plastic dome top that fails in time. We thought the new one would be glass bulb, but no, the same. They should come with an extra , because it will fail in time.They should at least sell replacement bulb tops with a part number.
