I recently had an opportunity to use this machine during a workshop day with my quilting group. I wanted to teach the owner of the machine to do free motion quilting and we couldn't do it because there was no way to release the pressure of the presser foot. I couldn't move the quilt around under the foot at all. The owner didn't have the manual with her so we looked for a way to release the pressure but couldn't find anything. A visit to your site today has revealed to me that there is no way to release the pressure of the foot with this machine. This machine is no good for quilters at all. One wonders who designed such a machine and then gave it a such a misleading name. I couldn't and wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone.

This is the third sewing machine I've owned. It's SO strong and sturdy. The automatic tension control is a lifesaver. Very happy to have a machine with so many options for additional accessories. The extension table has made working on large projects much easier. My only disappointments are the user interface is very basic, and there is no speed control.
