I love my new sewing and quilting machine!

My husband bought me the 7468Q Confidence Quilter for Christmas this past year and I love it!! I've been sewing ever since my 7th Grade Home Economics class when I made my first apron and I've had several sewing machines since then. And 7th Grade Home Economics was a long time ago!! My Mom did a lot of home sewing and I learned much in the way of technique and skill from her. With the 98 built-in stitches, I can begin the many quilting projects that I've copied patterns for and can start putting my fabric "stash" to good use! I can't thank you enough for the automatic needle threader; my bifocals just weren't getting my other sewing machine threaded any more!! Thank you for this great product! My husband only hopes that I'll keep on doing my housekeeping and not spend all day on my craft projects!!

I bought this machine to use on a gracie quilt frame.love the way it sews.the only problem with this machine is the presser foot lift.I am curious why all of a sudden you put it on the inside of the machine rather than the back? even free hand I believe it would interfer with quilting.

So far so good, like this machine, I am happy with the stitches it produces. I am not a quilter, but I like to do other stuff. I like it features like the needle threader and the bobbin feature. very satisfied.

Great 1st Machine

I purchased this machine to help with spare time. Being a typical man I had never used a sewing machine in my life. I found it easy to operate and fun to use. I have now had it for a little over a week and I have completed 3 projects and working on my 4th. I have made a potholder, tortilla warmer, and a jeans jacket for the dog. I am now 1/2 way finished with the top for my first quilt. I am very excited and having fun sewing. My only negatives would be that as a first time sewer the tools are not very clearly marked and I had no idea what all the feet were for and all those little shiny things. Wish it came with a sample of starter thread. I didn't buy any the day I got the machine so it just sat there on the table for a whole day.

I've had this machine for several weeks now and I love it. I'm new at quilting and this is so much easier to use than the old machine I was using. Love the ease of the bobbin, needle up stop, and how neat the stitches are. I highly recommend this machine.

Machine seems to be nice

I purchase one on August 26/14 use her to make 5 infinity scarves all straight stitch. The second time I use it I was making a little girls dress. I put a embroidered stitch on the bottom of the dress. The next time I turn it on all the machines functions was blinking of and on she would not do anything. I contacted a singer representative she went through a few steps to see if she could fix the problem, no luck. I contacted the store I purchased it from and ask for a exchange, they would not do this said I had to put it in for repair. I refused to do this it was use twice and only three weeks old. I had such a fight on my hands with calling a guy in Montreal, the repair shop in St johns nl in which this guy tried to fix it also through the phone. It seem no one could understand where I was coming from after many phones calls they finally said they would exchange it. The one they replaced it with had damaged don't to one corner of the box and the packing foam was crack up inside where this machine ovousily had a smack. I'm so afraid I may have problems with this I'm scared to use it. Over all I fill it is a beautiful machine I just wish I did not have to go through this experience. All I can do is pray this machine will not give out on me.

So far so good. Easy to use, reliable stitching, great for piecing and straight line quilting. I have done several small projects. But I do suspect that the pressure foot lever in the harp of the machine will totally be in the way when I tackle a larger quilting project. We'll see................
