Just bought my Curvy and went to the store for my instructions on how to use this machine. I was very impressed by how simple it was to use and I really liked the features that were built into the machine. I liked the ease of use and the great value I feel I have got with this machine. I'm going to love sewing again.

Frustrating! The worst machine!

I have been sewing for over 30 years. I purchased the 8763 after speaking to a few Singer owners. I must have a lemon, the machine will not thread properly, The bobbin breaks, the thread breaks, sees about an inch, stops working and beeps. There are no answers on any utube or manual. Don't waste your money!

This machine stopped sewing after second time I used it.It would not pick up bobbin thread Singer said its out of timing. Due to no qualified repair place in my town I had to ship it off to be fixed. Had to pull out my 40 year old machine (not a singer) and it worked great. Poor quality. Wish I had not bought this machine.

I grew up sewing on my mom's old Singer machine and finally got my own. The Curvy is as smooth as butter and makes sewing so easy. It handles denim and thick materials no problem. Spinning the bobbin, threading the machine and needle and backstitching are so easy! The picture makes the machine look small but it is a very solid sturdy piece of machinery. I told my mom that even though her old Singer is still sewing along, she should treat herself to the Curvy.

The Curvy 8763 is my first Singer Sewing Machine. The self-threading needle feature really sold me and the lighting on the machine is an added plus. I truly enjoy sewing on mu Curvy 8763.
