I have read all the reviews on this machine. I don't understand the problems listed. I have used my machine since last Christmas without a single problem. My last amchine was not a singer and this machine is a dream compared to it. I actually love sewing again.

Annoying Beep and Stop

I thought I would love the machine - but after a week - there is an annoying beeping and then the sewing slows to a stop. My foot is getting a workout because I have to constantly start the sewing again and again. There is nothing in the manual and a few tips online. I have adjusted the tension and cleaned the machine. Nothing works to get rid of the beep. I may return the machine and look for another brand.

I missed the 10-day window to return my 8763 Curvy to the store by 4 days. I'll have to keep the machine and use the 30-day warranty to fix the machine's timing. It only took one jam to break a needle, mess up the timing, and wear out the plastic gears.

I wanted a Singer because I had one for many years and LOVED it. I had this one a few months and the tension went bad. I was told the only way to get it repaired under warranty was with the ORIGINAL sales receipt. No where did I see anything that said I needed to keep the receipt for 12 months. Now I am sPending nearly as much on shipping and repair as I did on the machine ten months ago. My next machine be with a reputable company.

Love this machine

I'm new to sewing and was using a very old machine singer 403 A made back in the 1950's. I took a class at Joann's and got to use this machine there, fell in love with it got mine for Christmas. I'm having a lot of fun with it, working on quilt blocks and making bags and stuff.
