The pedal/foot controller is cheaply made...mine stopped working after 2 months of use. The machine otherwise is easy to use...except that I can't use it now because of the broken pedal

Curves with a curvy!

I received the curvy for my birthday and I literally fell in love. The machine has seriously changed my life! Instead of watching tv in my free time, I start up the wonderful singer and sew away the day. I hadn't sewn anything since middle school on a machine but when I set up the machine and threaded it, I was stunned at how simple it was, I didn't even needed the Manuel. I figured I would have to go to classes to figure it all out but I haven't went to any and I'd say I'm turning pro! I recommend this advanced machine to anyone!

I have had this machine about 4 yrs now the first one I bought broke down I took it in and it was due to product malfunction and they gave me the one I have now and it now is doing the same thing all the light are flashing and it doesn't work no warranty on it so I guess I have to buy another one (not singer) as the cost to fix is outrageous
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hate this machine

I really don't so as much since I purchased the sewing machine and it has been noting but problems one after another. thread bunching on the bottom of material when using auto function or the manual settings. Also, I have keep this well cleaned etc. The seat that holds the bobbin casing keeps popping out of its spot and starts making obnoxious noises and the machine does nothing but beep at me. I an so frustrated and I am ready to throw the machine in the trash.. I need help!!! I dont know what else to do. please help

Terrible experience

I bought this about 10 yrs ago. Never been able to sew on it. The needle timing was off. Had it repaired while it was under warranty. I did not use it for a year or so after that and the warranty expired. It happened the first time I used it after that again. Reparing it would cost me as much as the machine did. So I did not bother. "Singer" cost me a machine fee for nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
