My first attempt

I was really excited on buying my first new sewing machine. I did own an older one but was time to upgrade. I have used it on one project so far and I loved it. The only downfall for me, so far, is the led light. I don't find it bright enough. My old Singer had a nice bright light. Besides that I love my machine and look forward to do quilting.

The only reason I'm rating 4 stars is because the original Curvy 8763 I purchased did not stitch properly. I went for a sewing class and I couldn't stitch anything properly, so the teacher tried it and said I need a new one. Mind you it was only a few weeks old and barely used. So I got a brand new one and I've been stitching away! Everything works great, good instructions and good starter kit.

I find this machine very difficult to operate. It's supposed to be automatic threader, waste time trying to do this. It WILL NOT do the satin stitch, which is one of the main reasons I bought it.

Best Machine Ever!

I have had my Singer Curvy for a month now and am really enjoying it! I was really impressed with the self threader. I would spend almost an hour threading my old machine. It runs well, has great attachments and more are available. I have my grandmothers' old Singer Treadle and I found that the attachments from the treadle (75 years old!) work perfectly on my new Curvy. Thanks, Singer. You are the best!

I grew up using Singer machines so when the time came for a new machine I saw the Curvy 8763 at Joann's and liked what I saw. Wish I had never bought it; jams all the time, beeps at me constantly. Spend more time removing bad stitching and redoing. I will no longer buy Singer machines; very disappointed.
