GE Cafe Series - CT959STSS

We bought this for our kitchen remodel. Looked at other double oven but did not like any of them. I liked the GE CAFE Series when it first came out so I was sold that product from the beginning. Oven operates fine in both bake and convection mode and looks good in our new kitchen..

Great double convection oven

The oven seems to be pretty decent. This is our first convection oven so the cooking times will change over the normal oven. so far the cooking seems to be pretty even. Care must also be taken when cooking anything that might splatter grease or food while in convection mode as the fan will blow it toward the door which will need to be cleaned. We also removed the extending tray during normal use as this does take some effort to clean.
Con: We did have to purchase two interior light bulbs as the ones that came with the oven burnt out within the first two weeks. We needed to refer to the owners manual to figure out the wattage as these bulbs did not have any markings which is strange as GE make their own appliance bulb- Why couldn't they use their own bulbs??? Changing them out was a challenge as the screws holding the bracket were too tight and would not allow the glass cover to be removed. These screws needed a star bit to be slightly loosened in order to unscrew the glass cover.
