Love my oven....but???

Love my beautiful oven, but after only 3 or 4 uses I noticed that the interior lights have turned black. Not the bulb, but the glass outer casing that looks exactly like a cupcake liner.
Help...I want to keep my oven looking beautiful and I am not sure how to clean them..the back one is almost impossible to reach too!!

Great Features and Stylish Look

We have remodeled our kitchen using stainless steel appliances and purchased these double wall ovens over the internet 3 weeks ago. There are many features and cooking options that make this unit very user friendly. It is a sharp looking unit and are very happy with our selection. We've not yet used all the various cooking functions but are looking forward to testing them all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks really nice and works well but we have only had it one day. The measurements on the specs were not quite the size reported. The cabinet had to be made larger to get the ovens into the space. It took 2 days to modify. It also makes creaking noises when heating and in use??

Great except for timer

I love my new ovens, but my only problem is the timer is so low, you can barely hear it. And if you are multitasking you won't hear it. I have already burnt a few things & have only had it a month. There has to be a fix for this!

Love this oven!

I waited 15 years to remodel my kitchen so had plenty of time to research. This Cafe Series oven replaced a GE that was the original oven when the house was built nearly 40 years ago so clearly, GE is built to last.
I also knew I wanted convection ovens and something wider than my old 27". The extra 3 inches on the Cafe makes a huge differences. The ovens are easy to clean, controls are easy to see and use. Love the roll out racks and I haven't used the meat probe yet, but what a wonderful feature. I've had this oven for nearly a year and do not have one negative thing to say about it.

Love my new Oven

I love to cook and this oven is perfect, it's great for baking and roasting. The convection features are amazing, and now I have it in both ovens. Control panel is so light to the touch it is like using a computer. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Easy to use

I have been using my new 30" GE Cafe double convection oven for just under a year. I have enjoyed baking in it. I like that the bottom shelf slides out on a glider. Wish the other two shelves were also on gliders if it does not affect ease in changing shelf levels. The other two shelves slide out easily when you pull them out as you would pull out from any other oven. I find the one on the glider is very smooth. Having the inside oven light go on automatically when the door opens is helpful. I do find that having the light bulb on the upper area, does not light up whatever is baking underneath another baking item. May want to have an additional light in the oven in the middle of the back or side to light up the other shelves when baking multiple items in one oven. The instruction book has been helpful when trying to convert traditional baking temperatures to convection baking. When setting the cooking time, the oven will automatically turn off when the time has been reached. I would like the low option to be lower in temperature. I find that when I have left cooked food in the oven to stay warm until ready to eat with the setting on "LO" for low, the temperature is still too high as the food seemed to continue to cook. Tried to manually set the temp to about 125 or 150, but could not. Lowest manual temp was 170. When researching to buy an oven, many reviews of various products mentioned a noisy convection fan. I find the convection fan to be quiet. Instead of venting to the outside as older models use to do, the oven now has vents below each oven to vent into the kitchen which increases the heat in the kitchen. With all this in mind, I would consider buying this oven again if the need should arise.
