Hard to keep clean, not built well, knobs broke and product warranty was Useless

Was expecting a high quality appliance
What I got is poorly assembled
The control knob stems are not centered in the opening of the panel - looks very shoddy . Control knobs are shifted to the left

This cooktop looks impressive unfortunately it's not quite as good when cooking. Heating is uneven and proper pan placement over the burners is deceptive due to the angler design of the grates. Water takes an inordinate amount of time to come to a boil. This unit does not perform on par with professional grade cooktops offered by the competition. It's less expensive for sure but you get what you pay for in the end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced older GE cooktop that became too expensive to repair. Fit right in where the old one was removed. Works and functions similarly. Easier to clean with most parts dishwasher safe.

I just purchased this unit. Install was smooth. When tired up the unit sounds like jet engines and heated the pot of water very quickly

Cooking in Style!

Love my GE Cafe gas cooktop! The function are style are second to none. The spacing of the burners makes it convenient to cook and heat on all five burners at the same time, with room to move. I like to entertain and this cooktop makes it easy.
