I can not recommend this cook top. The knobs say they are removable, but I cant get them off. The grates are so high off the burner you have to cook everything on high and if you want to brown something, you have to put it on the power boiler. The boiler would be great, if it wasn't for the grate height. It takes longer to boil and cook then with my old electric. The griddle is cool for pancakes and french toast, but you can only get one batch of bacon done before the reservoir fills up with grease.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
