Great looks but wastage of gas.

This cooktop looks great,but as other reviews have posted, it wastes a lot of gas as the grills are very high than they should be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best stovetop ever

I trust GE for their quality. My old GE stovetop was excellent also, it was just getting worn. I love the griddle option and every piece on the stovetop is sturdy and not tinny. I love that I can interchange the griddle with a regular topper if needed. The power that this stovetop puts out is amazing. I love cooking with gas. I think it cooks everything more more evenly and quicker. Far surpasses some of the other stove tops that I have used. If anyone

Previous reviews mentioned grill grates being to high as an issue. We purchased Bella Copper diffusers which really helps. A little pricy but works and look good.

I upgraded our appliances when we had our house built last May 2013. I like to cook with gas, this stove has plenty of room, the grates are heavy and substantial which I like. The stove looks looks really good and I like lighted knobs so you can tell the burner is on. The only drawback is that it is easy to scratch the brushed aluminum.

This is the best cooktop I have ever had. Love it. Cooking is fast and easy. Some reviews said that the grate was too high and cooking took longer, well they are wrong, and just don't know how to cook. ***** all the way!

I absolutely love this product! Easy to convert to propane if needed! Love that you can lock the control knobs as I have small children. Also the griddle is perfect for cooking breakfast! It's a must have in the kitchen!

I really love the look of this cooktop and want to LOVE it, but as another reviewer said, the distance from the flames to the grate is too high. It takes forever for something to heat up. This is just so disappointing compared to my last cooktop. I honestly wish there was a way to lower the grates because then it would be perfect and I'd give it 5 stars!
