IT TAKES TOO LONG TO HEAT UP THE FOOD, FOR EXAMPLE, BOIL THE WATER , COOKING . I THINK GRATE IS TOO HIGH FROM THE BURNER , THE FLAME IS NOT CLOSE TO THE POT ,PAID THE HIGH END , BUT THE EXPECTATION IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT, IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT CAN IMPROVE THE HEATING OR THE GRATE CAN DESIGN MAYBE ONE INCHES HIGH FROM THE BURNER FLAME ONLY, THEN ITS 3 INCHES HIGH NOW . I WILL CHANGE THE GRATE IF THERE IS ANY IN THE STOCK. PLEASE ITS VERY IMPORTANT FOR FAST AND FOR BIG POTS AND FOR BIG FAMILY .

Stylish Gas Cooktop

Just installed this yesterday as a replacement for a glass top electric cooktop. We loved the electric cooktop as well and there was nothing wrong with it but wanted the extra temperature control that a gas cooktop would offer. Installation was very straight forward and after cooking for many hours today we like the new cooktop. The blue LEDs are very appealing and adds sophistication to the kitchen. The grates seemed to be somewhat higher than other appliances we have had in the past but it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem like other reviewers complained. Cooking speed seems to be about the same compared to our gas cooktop. At this point, two thumbs up!

Control knobs

I bought my cooktop about 1 year ago and love it. My only complaint is the control knobs appear to made out of plastic and once they get a cooking stain on them, a smug remains on them, even after washing. Could you not upgrade to a stainless . My sister has a gas cooktop (another brand) that she has had for 30 years and the knobs still look new. For the price paid, looks like you could do better with the knobs.

I needed a new cook top. My old one was only 30". I wanted something that looked commercial without the commercial price tag. This one is 36" and it performs wonderfully!!

This product reminds me of how good GE really is. The stove cooks all food and allows me to do multiple things at once along with cooking fast and easy.
