GE I had this Cooktop since 2015 and really everything about it , expect the poor knob design mounting the gas steam, i started having issues with the knobs and started playing musical chairs until they bad...This started after 1 year of owning the cooktop. I don't understand how GE would use plastic on something that is essential to the stove. I just had order another set, they are not cheap and expect them to last longer.
We’ve had our cooktop since June 2015...Since this time, we have used the griddle twice and that did not fair well. The material is not like a normal cast iron pans/skillets which we have quite a few of. So it is collecting dust. The knobs...boy the knobs...we have been through so many I cant count. They are too expensive to have such a poor stem. The tops are of nice stainless quality, heavy and durable. When you take them off to clean under them...you realize why the knobs “slip” and you have to press down even more firmly to try to get them to turn on. We discovered, the “slip” was a cracked and an eventual broken knob. It took us 4 knobs and two current cracked ones for me to write a review. Very disappointed and shocked to see such poorly designed and flawed knob for a nice cooktop.
Burner knobs constantly were out. I have bought my second set in the last two year, fully expecting the new set to split and fall off in about 18 months

I've had this stove top for a year and found that the knobs tend to crack, I wish they were made in metal not plastic.

I love this stovetop, I bought it in 2016 and since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The design is perfect especially the middle burner which I use for canning.
Although this stove top looks nice, the control buttons have been problamatic from the start. I have had to replace them 3 times & I have only had the stove for 2 years!!! They are plastic and not sturdy enough for the amount of use on this stove top.
