I use this EVERY DAY!

My wife and I try and cook dinner together because we both enjoy the time together so much. We use the range EVERY DAY. The grates are a little heavy for her, but I can easily take them off and clean underneath very easily. We like that you can put it in alarm mode, so when you are not intentionally turning a knob, it lets you know. Also, we got a griddle pan WITH the appliance and it works with the two burners in tandem on the left side. Also, the power boiler on the big burner makes water boil FAST! No more watching water heat up... We have really enjoyed cooking together on this range and there is plenty of room for both of us to stand in front and cook on it. Thanks GE, this is a winner!

Knobs are TERRIBLE!

I bought this for our brand new home a year ago. I was so excited to have this great cook top, and there are features that I love. However, 1 year later and the knobs are all breaking. 2 knobs don't work at all. I have to move the knobs that aren't broken around to turn on the various burners. It is ridiculous! I had a low end other brand with better quality knobs than this. I used that $300 other brand cook top for 5 years and never had a broken knob. I am frustrated and not at all impressed. Think twice before purchasing this cook top. And, if you can look at the model you chose in person and check the quality of the knobs. Who would have thought?

All knobs cracked. Made of plastic

This range is less than 1 year old. Every knob on the range has cracked and broken. The stem of the knobs are made of plastic. Don't remove them for cleaning, they will break.

Great Cooktop - Poor knobs

So my cooktop knobs began cracking after about a year. they don't control certain burners any more. Now the safety knob, which I have used maybe a dozen times also has cracked an no longer works. With the premium commanded by the Cafe line, it is unbelievable that such cheap hardware would be introduced. I purchased the entire line, so can't easily just replace the cooktop. Hoping GE/Haier will make this right!!!

Not worth the price

The knobs are heavy plastic. I've owned it for two years and one of the "stems" that comes off the unit which the knob slides onto, is broken. I'm having to pay someone to come repair it because of course, warranty doesn't cover anything mechanical after 1 year. You cannot clean down inside where the stem/knob sits.

Love this stove top

I've had this stove top for a year and found that the knobs tend to crack, I wish they were made in metal not plastic.

We brought this gas stove in Dec of 2016. One of the burners would not switch off and its really disappointing that a product from GE would have a poor quality.
