Weak when using more than one burner

When I turn on more than one burner, the flames go way down. The gas company suggested I have it checked. I called GE & they say it's normal as long as the flames are blue(?). My old cooktop worked fine with all 4 burning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello dave6366,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your new cooktop.
As we always strive to improve our products for our customers, we will be sure to share your comments with our engineering staff.
Super disappointed, I have had nothing but trouble with the knobs. They stick and I'm afraid if I turn it too hard they will break, thought that the cafe would be a better brand,
Difficult to have big pots on Very tight fit due to its design Difficult to clean due to its design and other than the middle burner not much BTU power Grills are too high The top plates are too flimsy and fall off easily Also they stain easily and do not clean well My old one was not working well so rushed into this Wish I had done more research
I'm very disappointed with this cook top because only the big centre burner gets hot enough to boil water.
The four other burners don't give off enough heat unless you boil only a cup or two of water, but that makes these burners unsuitable for a lot of things. If you need to fry potatoes for example you need the big burner in the middle or the potatoes will take too long to fry and will end up greasy. Unfortunately if you're already using the middle burner for something else you're out of luck.
I find myself constantly switching things to the middle burner to get a little heat and speed up the cooking process.
I also asked my appliance repair guy to see if he could increase the gas flow but said these burners are not adjustable and the thingee underneath is not replaceable, whatever that means. Bottom line, he said I'm stuck with it.
