We've had our cooktop for about a month and it is fantastic! A pleasure to cook with gas again and so easy to clean! I haven't used the griddle yet, but totally love this stove.

Bought this for the 5 burners. had a crew of college boys visiting with my son and they cooked up a storm on this appliance. cleans up nicely as well! Looks professional and love the knobs being up top

Takes forever to boil and burners too close togeth

We just built our house and we upgraded to this Cafe model. We are super disappointed with it! It takes at least 20-30 minutes to get the water to boil and you can only cook using one side at a time because the burners are way too close together on the 30". Trying to convince builder to replace with something better
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The middle burner is the Power Boil unit and is rated at 20,000 BTU’s. This is the best burner to use to quickly bring things to a boil and is best equipped for large cookware. Great Control

Great looking, easy to install and excellent control. Love the "Power Boiler" is able to have super-heat AND simmer control via the two ring burner design.
Only negative remarks are: The Lodge skillet plate doesn't heat as hot as I had hoped but quite usable and the profile is a little more bulky i.e. high off the counter plane, than anticipated

I am happy with the performance, however the burners seem so close together that sometimes its difficult to have two pots or pans cooking next to each other.

We bought this grill because of the child lock! We love everything about it except the side grills take forever to boil so you can only cook small side dishes on the side grills, still a very functional grill though!

Love the GE Cafe Series

My GE appliance was a gift and I really enjoy. I am sure the more I use the cooktop the more I will love all features. I am so excited about the grill and the burner for the larger utensil for soup pot etc. Also love the idea you can lock the cook knobs so they cannot be turned on while cleaning the area or by a child.

Solid cooktop

Bought this cooktop as part of a full set of GE Cafe appliances. So far we are very pleased. It's robust enough to handle a lot of cooking. Reasonably easy to keep clean and most of all, provides pleanty of heat. We especially like the center burner. It is a dual ring that provides lists of heat for boiling water yet turns down to a low simmer when needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
